It’s Thursday evening and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere at the track.

 

We arrived in the paddock yesterday at 9.30am, but didn’t get into position until 10am today. On the good side, we have been put in the next garage to ASM, and very close to Bruichladdich. We get a lot of visits from the teams, which is always welcome.

 

Temperatures are mid 20s, it’s very sunny and windy. Enough to burn any unprotected bald heads, whilst washing trucks. I think it’s due to stay the same all week.

 

Cars have been scrutineered, the first practice session is midday tomorrow. Bruichladdich went back to the hotel at 5pm and ASM should be away by 7pm. It’s good that the teams are finishing early, as they have 2 very long days coming up. The time table is very demanding for them.
